The Protégé program.
A Protégé at Salon Fable is still writing their first chapters. You learn behind the chair beside our House and Master Stylists, take on a select few services of your own while you grow, and build a book of guests who trust you. The craft is still unfolding, but the love for it already shows.

Chapter II
What we look for.
Recent graduates and stylists in their first years are exactly who the Protégé program is for. Experienced stylists drawn to how we work are always welcome to reach out the same way.
A Kentucky cosmetology license, or one on the way.
You are licensed, or finishing school and close to it. Where you trained matters less than how you want to grow.
An eye for lived-in, dimensional color.
Balayage, blonding, and extensions are the heart of what we do, and we will teach you our way of doing them.
Warmth that is real.
Our guests are met like old friends, not customers. That starts with the person holding the brush.
Patience with the process.
Luxury is quiet. We would rather you learn it properly than quickly.
